Wildchild Film Awards...

Wildchild Film Awards 2006 - The Best Movie Award goes to.......PERHAPS LOVE aka RuGuoAi!

This was the most fantastic movie HK filmmakers ever produced. In fact I felt that it's a breakthru in the chinese film market. It was made so uniquely which left me with an unforgettable experience I can't even explain in words. To tell you the truth, when I first saw the trailer on the website, I did not feel like watching it at all. My first impression was this movie is boring and ar lien 'cause the theme song made me feel weird. But I changed my mind and still went to watch because one of my independant film director friend highly recommended and assured me it'll be nice and I shouldn't miss it. A very big thank you to his few words which motivated me to watch. I enjoyed the movie very much. The storyline was interesting, acting was good, music was awesome, production well done, nice lighting mood, script was touching...everything was amazing. Can't find any flaws in it. Last night, I watched it again on DVD, I really really fell deeply in LOVE with it. It was so nice, I just can't stop watching it. Maybe I'm a crazed fan hahaha. Now talking about it, I feel like watching it again. Well done, Mr Director of Perhaps Love! You deserve to be given The Best Movie Award in Wildchild Film Awards 2006. *thumbs up*

Wildchild Film Awards 2006 - The Worst Movie Award goes to.......GUBRA!

This was the movie I voted the worst because I was indeed very disappointed after watching it. In fact, it was a totally opposite incident from Perhaps Love. Why so disappointed? 'Cause I really wanted to watch this movie from the day I heard about the production. I had very high hopes because the director's previous movie Sepet was good. Therefore, I looked forward to watch her next movie Gubra which left me with a very very very disappointed experience. Maybe by having high expections of the movie has killed the outcome. The movie was boring, pace was too slow and draggy, storyline was confusing and worst of all there wasn't any proper ending to it. I missed the ending story which appears after the long end credits. But my friend told me about it. Actually it did not make any difference at all, in fact it made me feel even more confused. Whatever the ending was, I don't really care because the movie sucks bigtime. Ms. Director of Gubra, you wasted my precious time watching your disastrous movie, you failed! You deserve to be given The Worst Movie Award in Wildchild Film Awards 2006. *thumbs down*
